An anniversary is a day that commemorates or celebrates a past event that occurred on the same date of the year as the initial event. The important dates in a sitting monarch's reign may also be commemorated, an event often referred to as a "Jubilee". Anniversaries of nations are usually marked by the number of years elapsed described with Latin words or Roman numerals. Many anniversaries have special names. Disneyland was partially inspired by Tivoli Gardens, built in 1843 in Copenhagen, Denmark and Children's Fairylandbuilt in 1950 in Oakland, California. Disney's original modest plans called for the park to be built on eight acres (32,000 m²) next to the Walt Disney Studios in Burbank, California as a place where his employees and families could go to relax. Early in development, during the early 1950s, it became clear that more area would be needed. Difficulties in obtaining funding caused Disney to investigate new ways of raising money. He decided to use television to get the ideas into people's homes, and so he created a show named Disneyland which was broadcast on the fledgling American Broadcasting Company (ABC) television network. In return, the network agreed to help finance the new park. On the suggestion of researchers at Stanford Research Institute who correctly envisioned the area's potential growth, Disney acquired 160 acres (730,000 m²) of orange groves and walnut trees in Anaheim, south of Los Angeles in neighboring Orange County. Construction began on July 18, 1954 and would cost US$17 million to complete. U.S. Highway 101 (later Interstate 5) was under construction at the same time just to the north of the site; in preparation for the traffic which Disneyland was expected to bring, two more lanes were added to the freeway even before the park was finished. Because of his brother Roy's distrust of the project, and because of financial considerations, Walt Disney was forced to turn to outside financing for his theme park. For the first five years of its operation, Disneyland was owned by  Disneyland, Inc., of which Walt Disney Productions and ABC each owned half. In 1960, Walt Disney Productions bought ABC's share of the theme park. This would later come full circle in 1999, when The Walt Disney Company, the successor to Walt Disney Productions, merged with Capital Cities-ABC, Inc.

In order to become friends with a specific NPC, certain requirements must be met. It may be a quest, having a certain amount of gold, or having a certain level of closeness with another After that requirement has been unlocked, you can then gift items to the NPC. For each gift, the NPC will gain Friendship Points with you. Gifting an NPC that has a good relationship with another NPC may raise your friendship level with them as well. Conversely, gifting an NPC disliked by another  may earn you version Points with that NPC. Upon gifting a NPC, he/she may mail you items. All the information about available NPCs to befriend can be found in the Friendship menu (default Y button).

Reaching certain friendship levels with NPCs will unlock more dialog with them. Depending on your choice of answer, these quests will increase or decrease your friendship/aversion levels with them. Details on each of the options for every dialog are listed on the corresponding NPC page. Another benefit to gifting NPCs is you gain points for use in the Faction Shop. Each NPC belongs to a certain faction; gifting them will grant you points for that faction. Gifts for NPCs can be found in all dungeons. The drop rate is somewhat low, and as gifts bind on obtain, the game will ask the party to roll for it if that party option is enabled. Gifts also can be dropped at the end of an Abyss level dungeon from the Dimensional Rabbit. To gift NPCs, choose the (Give Gift) option while talking with them. The following table is a list of how many friendship points you gain and aversion points you lose with an NPC upon giving him/her a certain gift. Once a slave of Danarius a Tevinter magister, Fenris is covered in a series of lyrium-infused markings, which grant him the unnatural ability to phase through solid objects, which is somehow connected to the Fade.
